Blitzkid Cambridge Concert reviews
Good show but fire the sound tech!
Blitzkid always put on a high energy show, but I left slightly disappointed. The overall sound of the show wasn't great, not because of the band. The speakers on one side of the arena went out halfway through their set, lasting only about 1 and a half songs, which was annoying. The speakers went out again later in the show, but came back on a couple of minutes later. James handled it very professionally, apologizing, but it still detracted from the overall experience. While the speakers were working, there was too much bottom end to the sound, not even from the bass, but from the drums and the low end of the guitars. Kirk's leads were almost impossible to hear over James' rhythm work. To wrap things up, it was a great show. Blitzkid always brings their A game, my favorite band, but I think they could've tweaked the EQs a little better.
